This project shows two possible futures for a Uakari monkey depending on what happens to its rainforest home. On one side, the forest is healthy, with tall trees and a happy life, allowing the monkey to live and move easily. On the other side, the forest is damaged by deforestation. Because of this change, the monkey is more stalked by its predator, the anacondra. There is also bad weather to go along with the theme. An adaptation could be that it develops stronger limbs and claws to climb damaged trees or travel further to find food. This drawing highlights how deforestation can greatly impact rainforest animals. If forests continue to get cut down due to humans, animals such as the monkeys will struggle to survive. Protecting forests is important to hep these species continue living in their natural habitats.
