Fer de lance

The Fer de lance is a venomous snake that is from the Amazon rainforest and countries in Central America. The issues it faces is habitat loss and deforestation. It is mostly nocturnal and is very defensive. In the future it will gain gills to breathe underwater because the Amazon rainforest will flood the forest. It will get a new pattern on its scales to blend into the water to hunt. If it becomes a desert or a savanna the Fer de lance will gain a slimmer body and it will be nocturnal to hunt and to withstand the heat of daytime. This is what the Fer de lance will adapt to in the future.
