Have you heard of the black leopard ? The leopard is the 4th largest cat in the world. Leopards live in tropical rainforests. Malay Peninsula is a rainforest with the most black leopards, up to 90% of black leopards live there. A key problem this forest is facing is industrial-scale deforestation. They are facing these problems because they are rich in palm oil and rubber. The black leopard has a dark coat that helps them in the dense, dimly lit forest. They are challenged by rapid habitat destruction due to people taking trees that are specialized for them. In 1000 years, I think the black leopard will become a savannah lancer. The savannah lancer lives in the Kalahari Desert in Southern Africa. They will have fine fur so they can withstand heat. They will eat small mammals. They will live in caves so their homes can't be taken.
