As one of the world's largest raptors, Harpy eagles face a large amount of habitational issues. Where they live, in the amazon rainforest (located mostly in Brazil) faces issues of deforestation, and climate change. These large carnivores eventually would have to move. In 1000 years they would most likely end up in desert areas. They would have thinner feathering, color changes, beak changing to be longer and thinner, a wider wingspan, and thinner talons. They would use their talons and beak for a new diet, consisting of desert reptiles, smaller birds, and on occasion other large bird predators like hawks. As the eagles they are, they would remain dominating the skies, even with the changes.
