The Vancouver coastal sea wolves face the dangers of rising water levels, heating temperatures, deforestation, forest fires, and competition for prey. The adapted illustration features the sea wolf with larger ears and a flatter tail, allowing for better mobility underwater and to release heat quicker. Additionally, they have a thinner coat and smaller eyes to prevent dust or ash in their eyes as well as for better visibility and mobility. Finally, the adapted wolf has sharper claws and a bigger face structure, allowing it to outcompete other predators.
