Sloths live in the tropical rainforests of central America. They are surrounded by trees in their habitat. Their gray/brown fur helps them blend in with the trees that they cling onto, hiding them from any predators: jaguars and eagles. Sloths also move very slowly to regulate their body temperature in cold environments. These tropical rainforests that the sloths live in can be at risk of having dry savannas and droughts. Sloths would then have to start living on the ground due to the loss of trees. And from sloths living on the ground, their fur color would also change to blend in with the ground.
