As of now, the Capybara is found in the Amazon rainforest where it lives in the wetlands and rivers and swims to stay cool and avoid predators. However, because of global climate change, the Amazon Rainforest might become even hotter, and the wetlands may become dry grasslands. The Capybara will adapt to survive and evolve to have longer legs and a slimmer body, allowing it to travel further to reach water and run faster over land. Its fur might become lighter and thinner to blend in with dry grass and also stay cool. Its ears may also become bigger to release body heat and its back legs may become stronger with its teeth becoming sharper to adjust to the dry plants and having less water for protection. The capybara's new name will become the Sunrunner Capybara.
