The Jaguar is a tropical rainforest animal and spends the majority of its life on the ground and when necessary the cars climb trees its large legs and great muscles enable it to move fast, to pounce and to swim in rivers. It is golden-yellow spotted with black which makes it blend in the shadows of the forest. Climate variability like increase in temperature, deforestation and destruction of habitats might convert some areas of the rainforest into open savannas with reduced trees. In thousands of years, the jaguar could evolve and live in this new environment. These changes would make the jaguar an effective hunter, prevent danger, and enable it to survive in a warmer and more open place.
