Sloth

In one thousand years, what would a sloth look like? Surprisingly strong swimmers, I believe that overtime, sloths would develop gills, fins, and webbed hands. As of right now, sloths dwell in the trees of tropical rainforests where they hang from the branches. Sloths prefer to live in the canopy level of the rainforest where they can have abundant food and water resources. I think that sloths would become aquatic because after a thousand years, I predict that sea levels will rise and animals that live in rainforests will have to learn to adapt to higher water levels.
