Black Caiman

The animal that I have selected for this challenge is the Black Caiman. This animal is a member of the alligator family, wading in the waters of the amazon river. The environmental challenges that this animal may face is the drying of the forest. If this issue continues to progress at the rate it has, the Black Caiman will lose its habitat, and be forced to operate on land. Soon, the rainforest will look more like a savanna. The Black Caiman loses its long tail as it gets on land, as the point of the tail is to guide it through the water. Also, it will be smaller, as it will need to adjust to a more landlocked diet. Its legs will also get longer so it can move faster on land.
