The Violet Sabrewing hummingbird has a long bent beak to suck up nectar. The hummingbird's colors help it blend in with the flowers in the rainforest. The nectar from the flower helps the hummingbird refuel. Their wings move very fast to escape from predators. The hummingbird's body is very colorful which helps them hide from predators. In the future the rainforest will become a desert. The hummingbird's food sources will change because it will be too dry for flowers to grow. They will now eat insects and hunt at night because there will be more insects outside. Their beak will develop to be more straight and better for eating insects. The hummingbird's feathers will be tucked in to dive down to get its food.
