The Harpy Eagle is one of the largest birds in the world, with a wingspan of 6 and a half feet. It is tall, almost 4 feet, and has gray or white feathers. It hunts by gliding and looking for animals, and then attacks. It lives in Central and South American rainforests, and is an apex predator. It can weigh up to 20 pounds and have talons as long as a grizzly bear, which it uses to hunt sloths, monkeys, and other small mammals. I predict that in the future, they will have evolved to be smaller, requiring less food to survive in what now is rainforest, but in the future, will probably be either a city or a neighborhood. This is the more likely outcome, but the Harpy Eagle could go extinct without its main food sources.
