The Emerald Tree Boa is a striking lime green with dark green fading on the back. It also has white marking, usually lines, going from the top of the back to the start of the side. They eat small mammals, rodents and marsupials, and occasionally eat birds. Emerald Tree Boas are arboreal, or spend most of their lives in trees. They have adapted to this life with prehensile tails, longer thinner bodies, green colors for camouflage, and big eyes. In the future, Emerald Tree Boas might get external ears and venom. Due to their prey possibly becoming better at hiding and running away, the Emerald Tree Boa will need better hearing, so external ears are a good assistant. Venom would be a good adaptation because prey could get away even after being bitten.
