Sloth

In the Future due to deforestation the sloth will have to adapt to living on the ground. They're long arms will shorten and strengthen its arms. Because the long arms were made for living on the trees, they will gain shorter, broader less sharp claws for digging into the ground and crawling on the ground, not tree climbing. The sloth will gain a longer snout so that they can eat from the ground better. The sloth will have to adapt to living in a burrow or some form of a den because they can’t live on tree canopies anymore. The sloth will also become much faster and better suited for running away from predators. There is a good chance that the sloths will evolve into something more like their giant sloth ancestors.
