An Aye Aye’s scientific name is Daubentonia Madagascariensis. scientists thought that Aye Ayes were rodents at first but they are actually primates. Scientists thought that they were rodents at first because of their rat-like teeth and squirrel-like tail. The Aye aye’s tail helps it balance on the tree it's on. Once an aye aye finds a hollow in a tree it rips off the bark with its teeth and eats all of the bugs that the aye aye can find. An aye aye’s life span is up to 20 years long. In the future its teeth may have more teeth.
