The Channel Billed Toucan lives in the rainforest and has lightweight, hollow bills for foraging. They have two toes forward and backward for climbing trees. They also have large bills that can measure up to 18cm! WOW that is so long! They use those big bills to reach fruit. They live in groups for safety.
To adapt to the future the Channel Billed Toucan will get larger feet that will become webbed to cling to bare branches and for better grip. They will get larger stronger wings for increased flight. The environment will turn into a savannah. BYE RAINFOREST! They will get smaller, more curved bills for catching fish, insects, tearing meat apart and catching smaller prey. Their feathers will change colors (brown/yellow) for camouflage in their changed environment. They will lose their belly feathers for better egg incubation in warmer climates.
