The Green Anaconda is known for its large size and appetite, reaching 20ft. They have a dark green pattern on their scales that help them camouflage. They are able to eat large animals with their flexible jaws that can open at a 150 degree angle. They are ambush predators who live in water, waiting patiently before striking at a creature. Due to environmental loss, whether it be global warming, pollution, or deforestation, the Green Anaconda would make adaptations to survive. Firstly, they would shrink considerably, probably around 10ft. This is based on another constrictor snake that lives on land, the Boa. Due to their smaller size, they would have an easier time on land, which would help them hunt in this new, dry environment. Their diet would be made up of smaller animals like rodents and reptiles. Since they can't use water, they will regulate their temperature in mud instead.
