Leopard in the Future

I chose the Leopard as my future creature. It lives in the understory and canopy of West/Central African rainforests. It already has adaptations like camouflage, climbing, great agility, good night vision, and sensory enhancements (whiskers and eyebrows). The first future adaptation that it will have in the future is the fur becoming a lighter color and less dense because of the heat, and also larger ears to release that heat. Since there will also be less trees, I drew longer legs, a lighter body weight, and a stronger tail for longer distance running + balance. Since there will be more animals in a broader space, the leopard will adopt a more flexible diet. I also drew stronger paws so it can walk on hotter land and have more tolerance to dry conditions.
