Toucan

Toucans live in rainforests. They use their big beaks to seed disperse, open fruit, and they cool their body temperature too. They are very loud and social birds. They are primarily frugivores, but they also eat insects. They have zygodactyl feet (two toes in front and two backwards for gripping). Toucans play a vital ecological role and they are very full of color. Their bill can make the toucan appear larger at times too. Now the toucan is removed from the rainforest, and has to adapt to the grasslands. The toucan has longer legs to run, and four toes in the front. It becomes slimmer and taller. They also lose their vibrant colors. The toucan will have a smaller beak and they’re not as noticeable, and have a duller beak. They will have wings still, but they would be slimmer and won’t use it as much.
