The scarlet macaw lives in the rainforests of Central and South America. They are a big red parrot with red, yellow, and blue wings. A scarlet macaw’s beak is used to break hard nuts, seeds, and hard fruit. It is so strong that they can use it as a third foot to climb trees and other things. Scarlet macaws can fly around really fast and imitate sounds that they hear. In around 500 years scarlet macaws would live mainly in zoos and with humans because of deforestation/habitat loss. Scarlet macaws would live with the help of humans feeding, giving nest boxes, and protecting habitats. Their beaks would change due to eating bugs, and not having to break open nuts. They might get smaller due to different foods. Hopefully in the future scarlet macaws don't go extinct and live very long lives.
