The Pantanal Jaguar (Panthera Onca) lives in the Pantanal Wetlands in Brazil. Wildfires and agricultural expansion will convert the wetlands into a barren wasteland, killing plants and animals in the area. To survive in this environment, the Pantanal Jaguar will eventually become the Brown Jaguar. Their eyes will change from round pupils to slit pupils, for precise close-range judgement. Their fur will change from yellow with black rosettes to brown with spots of white for better camouflage in their new habitat. It will become similar to a desert, with large valleys of dry, cracked ground and minimal vegetation. They will change from being active predators to ambush predators as there is no cover when they are chasing prey. The Jaguar will stalk prey and attack from close range, rather than chasing prey over long distances. The Brown Jaguar's ears will be able to hear higher frequencies to stalk smaller prey.
