Hyacinth Macaws (Anodorhynchus hyacinthinus) are located in South America, specifically Brazil, Bolivia, and Paraguay. However, climate change will cause drier weather and therefore lead to increased wildfires and extreme weather events. Hyacinth Macaws will be forced to adapt to these changes, specifically in their behavior and physical traits. Over time, they will grow larger beaks, helping to find food and grasp objects. Hyacinth Macaws will also grow thicker feathers to help regulate extreme heat. They will also change color (from blue to gray) to be able to blend into the sky and shadows better, helping for camouflage and avoiding predators. The yellow ring surrounding the macaw's eye will over time turn orange, as a result of sunbleaching. The macaw's behavior will change as well, seeing as their populations are decreasing by the day, they will overtime have to learn to be more independent, whereas hyacinth macaws normally work in groups.
