The Giant Otter
The Giant Otter is a mammal living in tropical rainforests all over South America including the Amazon Rainforest, and the Orinoco Rainforest. It is a very tough predator to have it can run up to 29 mph🤯 on land and can go up to 97 meters deep in water (318 feet). Their whiskers act like sonars as their sensitive whiskers can track down prey in murky water. They also stay warm with dense water-repellent fur that keeps water off their skin. To stay alive in the future, they will need to have even more dense skin because of the changing water temperature, the water will get murkier and they will need better sensing whiskers to get food. As a lot of their prey will go extinct now they will need to adapt to eating a wider variety of foods to stay alive.
