The jaguar (Panthera Onca), lives in rainforests in the Americas, like Brazil and Peru. With rising temperatures, jaguars will develop longer limbs and ears, with a smaller body to dissipate heat more efficiently. In a warmer climate, jaguars will hunt at night to avoid heat. They will also have wider eyes that adapt better to minimum light. Their eyes will feature a larger pupil, with green irises. Jaguars will have a lighter layer of sandy beige fur, with fewer spots to blend in with less vegetation. Prey changes from large, armored animals to fast, smaller animals as a result of their current prey declining from habitat loss and degradation. Smaller animals and livestock will become more popular in their ecosystems. Therefore, their skulls will become smaller, with shorter joints to adapt to their new prey. To save energy, the jaguar's skull will become lighter, to avoid carrying a heavy head.
