The black panther is a big feline that lives in Southeast Asia and Central/ South Asia. Most black panthers are leopards with a genetic mutation called melanism that gives their fur black pigment. They can run up to 36mph, they run fast because their highly flexible spines have 52-53 vertebrates. Currently, black panthers live in caves and rocky crevices for dens and shelter. They also are amazing climbers. In the future I believe the problems they will face will be human conflict and construction. I think they will be smaller and skinnier for navigation purposes when crossing human built roads. They will have to change their diet to be omnivore because if more animals adapt to the new environment it could be hard for panthers to hunt them, so they will need plant options. Other than getting smaller and teeth changing, not many physical features will change.
