The Black Caiman Alligator lives in the Amazon rainforest. They live in waters and only come out to land to hunt their prey. Due to climate change and the Amazon river drying up, alligators may need to spend more time on land. The skin of the alligator will change color to better camouflage in the land and to withstand heat waves without the river. They might have thicker/more durable skin (like a turtle) to withstand the climate change and just in case a branch falls on them or one of their prey falls on them nothing happens to them. They also may adapt longer claws to hunt their prey and make them faster and more balanced in land. A shorter tail will also help them move faster in water and land, since the alligator will have a smaller body which allows them to be more agile.
