The Emperor Tamarin lives in South America's water basin. Although I believe due to global warming, their habitat may make a transition to a more dry land.
With the new habitat one adaptation I believe they will have is lighter fur. With the lighter fur they can reflect heat, instead of trapping it, resulting in less heat related casualties.
