Today the Green Iguana lives in the tree canopy. Green Iguana’s upon hatching are 17 to 25 cm and only weigh up to 0.3 pounds. When they grow up they are 2.1 meters and weigh up to 20 pounds. Green Iguanas are herbivores and some eat algae off of rocks on the shore. As defense Green Iguanas use their tail to whip enemies. Older iguanas that have reached close to growth eating a leafy diet for its stomach to be satisfied. Iguanas use some signals like bobbing their head to communicate.
In the future Green Iguana will have to eat cactus because it’ll live in the desert since the rainforest will dry up. Green Iguanas will have a hump on its back to store water. They will make burrows in the ground to put their eggs. They will be lighter because they eat less.
