Today the poison dart frog lives in the Amazon Rain Forest. They are very poisonous and toxic. Their legs can be used for jumping and staying on trees. They are colorful because if a predator tries to eat them it will warn them that it will be poisonous and will probably get very sick or even pass out. Blue poison dart frogs are active during the day and can be found hiding among boulders. Poison frogs are usually about 0.75 to 1.5 inches. They have a long tongue to get their food. One million years later, they are not as poisonous as before, but now they move a little bit faster. They are dry and brown now, they also blend in the trees that had fallen down. They eat dead animals left over bodies. They also don't defend themselves they find little places to hide for protection.
