Green Basilisk Lizard

Today, the Green Basilisk Lizard is three feet long. It defends itself by running across the water with their hind legs. They eat insects, spiders, small lizards, crawfish and snails. It has the ability to walk on water. It helps it run away from predators but they can only walk on water for 15 seconds so they can swim too. In case the distance is long it is a very good swimmer. In the future as the weather gets hot the water will dry so it will get dry and eat less. Also, it can´t walk on water as the water dries. After that, they will eat leaves only. Regularly it grows 1.7 to 3 inches but after they eat only leaves for one week it would grow less. Instead of running across the water to defend themselves they camouflage themselves by changing their color like a chameleon.
