The Bushmaster snake, (Lachesis Muta) is a highly venomous snake that lives in the tropical rainforest. It has many adaptations that help it survive like pit organs between their nostril and eyes. These are heat sensing, and help them find prey way easier. Another example is their tails being able to rattle on the leaf floor, this causes them to scare off predators, and its rattle is just like a rattlesnake’s. In the future, Weedmaster snakes, (Viriditas Dominus Serpentes) will have a change in both their habitat and adaptations due to the rising temperatures. Because of this, they will move down south to southern South America, called the South American savannah. An example being: Instead of pit organs sensing heat, they will sense smell. This is because all their prey is going to turn cold-blodded due to the rising temperatures, making them unable to sense their prey.
