Harpy eagles currently have many important features that relate to their diet and habitat. Harpy eagles have long big wings so they can soar across the sky. They also have sharp eyes which they use to catch their prey. In the future, harpy eagles may lose their home caused by deforestation, which will cause them to start living in the lowlands rather than up in the trees. Their diet would also change to include smaller mammals. Harpy eagles might also have to adapt their eyes to be able to catch smaller prey. the rising temperatures would also affect the harpy eagles causing them to change their color from darker to lighter colors to absorb less heat. For harpy eagles to survive climate change they must, change colors, become a smaller size, and change their diet.
