The macaws used to live in tropical and subtropical forests, woodlands, and savannahs of Central and South America. They have different colors of feathers and a long curved beak with the color peach. Now they live in higher latitudes so they can find cooler temperatures and suitable foods. They have brown and black feathers. Their beak is shorter and more pointier. They changed because of climate change. The color shifted because the heat increased making it reduce the pigment of the feathers. With climate change it might cause these birds to go extinct. Their beak is smaller because there would be less food so they wouldn't need to catch that much animals and would need to go off of what they find in the new place their gonna be. But with these changes it is going to help them adapt to the challenges.
