Sloths

Sloths live in rainforest canopies. But, since so many people are cutting down trees, they might not have shelter in 1000 years. 1000 years later sloths will have to adapt. They will need to change a lot. Since they have long flappy arms to climb and hang in trees, they will need to adapt to walking on land. Because of climate change, rivers and lakes in the rainforest may dry up. Sloths will need to find other ways of transportation. They will need shorter stable legs for walking on land easier and faster. That will be their new way of transportation. They will need to adapt to camouflaging on land. Their fur will need to be a brownish yellowish color instead of a greenish brown. Since they get most of their food from trees. They will need to become more omnivorous. Sloths will have great adaptations in the future.
