Capybaras are mammals. Capybaras live in central and south America. They also live in grasslands and forests where they eat grass and plants that grow near the water. Capybaras can live up to 10 years in the wild. Capybaras adults weigh more than 100 pounds. Their predators are Jaguars. Capybaras also have brown fur. They also have webbed feet to swim better in the water.
In 1,000 years the capybara will be a desert animal with a lighter shade of brown fur to camouflage into the desert sand. They won’t have webbed feet. It will get its food from other desert animals. They will have little sharp nails to make it easier to attack predators. They will have tails so they can slap their predators when they are near. This is what I think the capybara will be in 1,000 years.
