Toucans live in the tropical forests of central and South America. Toucans are known for their large strong beaks and colorful feathers. They range in size. The smallest birds are 12 inches long .The largest toucan grow up to 25 inches long .Toucans use their strong beaks to grab fruit from trees. It is their main source of food. They also eat insects, frogs and small reptiles some toucans steal eggs from other birds. There are 40 species of toucan. Like human finger nails toucan beaks are made of keratin. The predators of the toucan are the jaguars, snakes, coatis and Eagles.
In 10,000 years from now. I THINK the rainforest would be flooded with mixed in fresh water and salt water. The toucan will be eating fish, and be able to float on water. Toucans will be on very tall trees for protection from other surviving animals.
