The Zombie Sloth

Three toed sloths are extraordinary creatures that live in the tropical parts of the world. Mostly the amazon rainforest. They live high up in the trees and only come down to the ground once a week to urinate and poop. They do everything in the trees from eating, sleeping, mating and even giving birth! Sloths are folivores meaning they eat pretty much only leaves. Because the protein in their foods isn't enough to fuel them to move a lot, they are very slow. I think in the future they will live in more of a shrubland because climate change will have affected it a lot. They will have become omnivores and their main food source will be insects like beetles and praying mantises. They will be called Zombie Sloths because they eat the heads off insects and store the snacks for later, when food is more scarce.
