The Kinkajou is a small amazonian mammal that belongs to the raccoon family. The Kinkajou is characterized by its 90% fruit diet and long tongue to extract nectar from flowers. After the Amazon experiences climate change, the Kinkajou is predicted to become more compact in order to use less energy when there is a lack of food and water. Additionally, the Kinkajou's fur will become thinner as it will no longer need to stay warm during cold times because global warming will cause the Amazon to become abnormally warm. Finally, the Kinkajou's tongue will become shorter to adjust to the omnivorous diet it will have to gain due to the lack of fruit during climate change.
