Orangutan

The animal I am writing about is the orangutan. It lives in the rainforest environment. Recently, there has been an environmental shift such as trees being cut down. Right now, this animal survives by using traits like long arms, they build nests, and use sticks or leaves to get food. These traits help the animal survive. In the future, the animal may need to develop new survival traits such as build nests in new kinds of trees, eat more insects and smaller foods. They might also need to find new ways to get food in order to survive in the changing environment. The biological response to this environmental change may include finding new trees and build nests in which helps the animal find shelter. This response increases the animal’s chance of survival.
