okapi

The animal I'm writing about is the okapi. It lives in the dense rainforest environment. recently there has been an environmental shift such as climate changes effects. Right now this animal survives by using traits like blending in, pulling leaves from trees and seeing and hearing very well. These traits help the animal survive from predators. In the future this animal may need to develop new survival traits such as adapt to warmer weather and eating different foods in order to survive the changes.
