Ocelot

The animal I am writing about is the ocelot. It lives in the rainforest environment. Recently, there has been an environmental shift such as the temperature getting warmer. Right now, this animal survives by using traits like long claws ,spots and it has light furr.These traits help the animal survive. In the future, the animal may need to develop new survival traits such shorter claws in order to survive in the changing environment. The biological response to this environmental change may include it not having as long of nails it won’t have to dig as much..This response increases the animal’s chance of survival.
