Right now, Squirrel Monkeys live in rainforests across South America. They live in the trees to stay away from ground predators. In the future, I think that they will live in the savana, which does not have many trees and is much drier. They will live in the tall grass instead of trees, and will still be hidden from predators. When they live in the savanna, it will be called a Grass Monkey, and its scientific name will be Gramen simia. It will be smaller to fit under the grass, and have tan fur and green legs to blend in with it. It will also have claws to make small burrows under the grass, that they stay in when it rains, when they sleep, and to hide from predators. They will be fast to get across the savanna quickly, and escape from bad situations.
