The animal I am writing about is the Toucan. It lives in the Rainforest environment. Recently, there has been an environmental shift such as climate change. Right now, this animal survives by using traits like it uses its long beak to get food, they live in a flock and they are also the most recognisable birds.These traits help the animal survive. In the future, the animal may need to develop new survival traits such as learning how to get food since everything will be dry or the change of color because the sun will shine on it in order to survive in the changing environment. The biological response to this environmental change may include scenery, which helps the animal blend in. This response increases the animal’s chance of survival.
