Animal Adaptation The animal I am writing about is the leopard. It lives in the rainforest environment. Recently, there has been an environmental shift such as the temperature is getting hotter . Right now, this animal survives by using traits like spots, sharp nails , and good eye sight . These traits help the animal survive. In the future, the animal may need to develop new survival traits such as no spots or better eye sight in order to survive in the changing environment. The biological response to this environmental change may include shorter nails, which helps the animal survive . This response increases the animal’s chance of survival.
