Red Eyed Tree Frogs have bright red eyes and startle predators with bright red eyes giving a chance of an escape for the Red Eyed Tree Frog. Red Eyed Tree Frogs mostly eat insects and spend most of their time in trees. They only eat during the night and lounge in trees in the day. The frog hopes that when it quickly shows its bright red eyes, it will surprise and confuse a predator for a moment, giving the frog time to hop away and stay safe. In the future the frog will grow in size.
