The animal I am writing about is the sloth. It lives in the jungle environment. Recently, there has been an environmental shift such as change in temperature. Right now, this animal survives by using traits like flexible trunks and strong bodies. These traits help the animal survive. In the future, the animal may need to develop new survival traits such as eating at night and growing stringer legs in order to survive in the changing environment. The biological response to this environmental change may include traveling to find food which helps the animal .eat. This response increases the animal’s finding new food chance of survival.
