The animal I am writing about is the harpy eagle. It lives in the rain forest environment. Recently, there has been an environmental shift such as climate change. Right now, this animal survives by using traits like powerful beaks, hunting animals like monkey sloths and other small mammals , and building nests in tall trees. These traits help the animal get food. In the future, the animal may need to develop new survival traits such as building nest in different kids of trees or hunting new types of prey in order to survive in the changing environment. The biological response to this environmental change may include loss of food source and temperature change, which helps the animal _finding new food This response increases the animal’s chance of survival.
