The animal I am writing about is the emerald tree boa. It lives in the rainforest environment. Recently, there has been an environmental shift such as climate change. Right now, this animal survives by using traits like being good hunters and climbers,hunting small mammals, and being active at night.These traits help the animal survive. In the future, the animal may need to develop new survival traits such as resting on higher trees and thicker branches or being more active at night in order to survive in the changing environment. The biological response to this environmental change may include color change to stay camouflage,which helps the animal emerald tree boa.This response increases the animal’s chance of survival.
