toucan

The animal I am writing about is the toucan. It lives in the tree environment. Recently there has been an environmental shift such as coldness. Right now this animal survives by using traits like his beak feathers and eyes. These traits help the animal defend themselves. In the future the animal may need to develop new survival traits such as flying or longer beak in order to survive in the changing environment. The biological response to this environmental change may include heat which helps the animal survive the coldness this response increase the animals chance of survival. :)
