The animal I am writing about is the sloth it lives in the rainforest environment. Recently, there has been an environmental shift such as deforestation. Right now this animal survives by using traits like camouflage and sitting upside down in high places. These traits help the animal in the future. The animal may need to develop new survival traits such as be faster or climb faster in order to survive in the changing environment. The biological response to this environment change may include planting trees which help the animal survive. This response increases the animal's chance of survival.
